Hi, I'm Lisa Wheeler, the owner and farm manager of Oak Spring Farm. I'm a single mother of three who had no prior farming background when I started building my farm from scratch. Over the last decade, I have made countless mistakes and each one taught me a lesson that have been the stepping stones towards the success Oak Spring Farm enjoys today. I use that experience to help new farmers skip over some of those challenges.
I have 10 years experience running a profitable small USDA Organic Certified farm and 8 years of coaching and teaching prospective farmers through apprenticeships and farmer networks. Now, having completed coursework as a certified business coach, I'd love to help you take your farm or home garden to the next level. Together, we can find the weak points and create an approachable and actionable plan to grow a healthier and hardier business. I can't wait to hear from you and work to help your farm thrive!
This is a full service package which includes the following:
a 90 minute initial on-site visit to your location where we discuss your processes and generate ideas and plans for improvements.
a 60 minute follow up on-site visit to your location to review and give feedback on your implementation of the plan.
Three 1 Hour Coaching Calls where we discuss your processes and generate ideas and plans for improvements. These calls allow us to refine a plan and create a support and accountability structure for the implementation of the plan.
Note: The base price covers travel of up to 45 minutes one way from Freeland, MD where Oak Spring Farm is located. If you are further away, there is an option to pay to cover the extra travel.
